The Saviour Story
We all have to eat—but too often, food feels like a compromise. If it’s delicious, it’s unhealthy. If it’s convenient, it’s unsustainable. If it’s vegan… it’s vegan. But we were hungry for a change—that’s why we created Saviour.
We started with a damn delicious cookie recipe—one that’s flavourful, satisfying and nourishing. Then we searched for little ways to make it better. We sourced sustainable, clean ingredients, we used biodegradable packaging, and all along the way, we paid everyone fairly. Because what we eat shouldn’t just feed our body—it should feed our community, our environment and our conscience.
The Garden Strathcona
The idea for Saviour grew from a small seed at The Garden Strathcona, our cafe and retail space in historic East Vancouver. The way we make these signature cookies is the way we do everything in our business: without compromise. Our aim is to feed our customers and curate our shop in a socially and environmentally sustainable way—all while sparking conversation and building community in our city.
